New Restaurant Alert
While India Mahal is okay, Wilmington’s always had a dearth of really good Indian food. So I’m glad to see a new restaurant moving into the space that was Big D’s burger biker bar on South College across from Hugh MacRae Park. It’s called Tandoori Bites: Fine Indian Cuisine, and I hope it lives up to its name because I loves me some tandoori, curry, murg makhani, butter chicken, chutney, naan, etc.
seriously! i’m so excited . . . i’ve been circling their parking lot like a raptor, looking for signs of when they’re opening . . . a buffet table! i saw a buffet table!

Tandoori Bites had great food and nice decor! I had the lunch buffet and thought it was far beyond the buffet at the other Indian restaurant in town. Highly recommend!

That’s great to hear, Sue. We’re looking forward to going as soon as we can (Maybe tonight…Will have to check with my old lady). And I’d love to have a review for the Grove Project up soon.
