hi i’m elise – new to the forum but long time in wilmington. i’m on the board of cape fear riverwatch which put on the cypress fest. we had a soggy but fun time dancing in and out of the rain. i’m glad to see your comments. we have opportunities for volunteers to work a shift and get free admission. we had lots of kids activities so that might be a good area if you are interested. we really want this to be a family event, so let us know how we can help make it happen. we have many fun free events throughout the year. the website is http://www.cfrw.us and our events are typically listed on the going green website as well.
