The Dish – Creole’s, new Pink Pig to come to downtown Wilmington

Diners awaiting downtown’s Creoles must be patient. Previously scheduled to open around July 4, Creoles new debut is August first-ish, owner Pete Koke said. Permit delays stalled the New Orleans themed-shop (122 Princess St.). Plus, Koke was purchasing Pink Pig Café next door. Koke is expanding Pink Pig’s menu to include Cajun specialties and weekend brunch….

Since he showed up he has put the Pink Pig out of business and keeps telling all kinds of tales all over the place.

His fence project seems stalled, It is a real shame that the Pig is gone.

Peter Koke is putting up a fence around the lot on corner of 2nd and Princess St Downtown.

He is also going to serve a Cajun Breakfast till 4am out there and have live music acts like BB King playing in that parking lot. BB King in a parking lot by the bus stop downtown is going to be great. Can’t Wait!!!!

Peter Koke was just arrested last week for assauting a construction worker for the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge beneath the bridge with a Bobcat Skidster on a State easement through his land. Another warrant was put out for him just a few days after the Assault with a Deadly Weapon. The second was for Assault and Battery. Guess what Peter Koke….. there’s third warrant in the wings. Anybody interested in seeing the video of this unbelivable assault??

Oh my. I love the food and culture of New Orleans but I’ll pass on this particular “swill”. This guy is slime personified. I wonder if the reporter knew about this quote, which appears under Peter Koke’s name in this thread of comments — and about an entirely different (failed) venture:

Hi Insider,

Sorry for the long delay in reply. Yes, I did actually pay money online – $26 – for the so-called search. If you follow the application procedures on the website there is a link for the “service” or at least there was last year, dont know now. I think rather than file charges independently it is best if we all pool together our complaints and resources for it IS CLEAR THAT PETER KOKE IS A FRAUD.
