WQHR 25 Big Ones Celebration

Dear Grovers, if you are anything like me, then I know you like to sit around Saturday mornings in your pajamas drinking coffee, eating breakfast yummies and listening to WHQR programs. Well guess what? We can all get together on Saturday, September 12th from 10:00am- 2:00pm and do just that!

Gordon Hall, Architect, and Jo Howell Interiors are going to host a pajama brunch and silent auction in order to celebrate WHQR turning 25. Yes (!) we get to stay in our pajamas while enjoying great food, drinks, live music and readings from local authors.

Your purchase of a $25 ticket for this event will help WHQR continue to provide the on-air programming that we have all come to love and depend on. Tickets are limited so please secure your reservations soon.
Contact Tanya Tilley-Hall at 471-3727 or Jo Howell at 232-1772 for more information.

Is this an acid flashback, or is that Yoko Ono and John Lennon in another bed-in for peace?

I will unfortunately miss this cool party (work beckons), but I did make my contribution because HQR rocks (sometimes literally).

Thanks Rachel! Hopefully we’ll see lots of Grove Project readers/writers at the party. Thanks too Ranald, for your contribution-we’ll miss you and will send a plate home with Mindy. :)
