Electronic recycling this weekend

Forwarded from the good folks at Wilmington Freecycle

New Hanover County Environmental Management and Keep America Beautiful, is coordinating an ELECTRONIC RECYCLING EVENT this Saturday, April 25th, from 9:00AM-2:00PM at WALMART on Market Street.

We will accept televisions, computers, microwave ovens, and just about anything with a power cord.

WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCEPT ITEMS CONTAINING FREON OR LARGE APPLIANCES LIKE WASHERS AND DRYERS.

So, gather up all that old electronic junk that’s taking up space in your garages and storage rooms and bring it to Market Street WALMART, Saturday between 9AM-2PM.

I’ve got some old crusty PCs in the attic that may meet their green death there.
