Green Coast Recyclers, who volunteered to keep it clean there, are absolute menschen and hard-working great citizens. We're still working on our neighbors to get a recycling stop together in our (outside the city limits) neighborhood in Masonboro.

Good point, Ranald, I should have known what to expect… I guess I don’t get out much. I did see Keb Mo at UNCW & Ben Taylor at the SoapBox, but those were inside, yuppified, sit down and relax events. But don’t get me wrong, the drunks dancing were great— I’ve been there, done that, and they all looked happy… the dancing just seemed strangely out of sync with what was happening on stage. To me. But I am getting old. Forgot to mention, the evening was gorgeous and the beer was cold… Green Coast Recyclers were grabbing the beer bottles. I’d go back to GLA, with eyes opened.

Kids today, kids yesterday. It doesn’t sound to me like too much has changed. Weed in the air at an open air venue isn’t very shocking, but not paying attention to the music is pretty unappealing. And the drunks up front dancing? I have no problem with that. At least they’re not fighting.
