Owner of Kat’s Taxi dies in accident on Eastwood Road

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – An accident has left two people dead, including the owner of Kat’s Taxi Service in Wilmington.

The accident happened just after 12:30 Saturday morning at the intersection of Eastwood and Rogersville Road in Wilmington. Eastwood Road was closed for almost five hours.

The owner of Kat’s Tax, Shukil Rahimbux or as many people knew him as “Shak” will be greatly missed. He was truely a wonderful person to be around.
