Mom’s body in freezer
“This would rank up there as one of the more bizarre calls that I’ve ever received in my 10 years with the district attorney’s office,” New Hanover DA Ben David said of this story, in which the mother of a man whose body was discovered three days ago, dispatched apparently by natural causes, is discovered in a freezer near Monkey Junction — a few blocks from our house!
Sue Moore, a next-door neighbor of the Wentzes, said the son rarely interacted with people.
“He never spoke to anyone,” she said. “If he saw you in the backyard, he would run back inside like he was afraid.”
Wow, how very Silence of the Lambs-ish.

How sweet…he was probably trying to keep her in deep freeze for future revival. Guess he didn’t hear that cryonics in your home freezer is usually a bust…
