Mom and dad headed south several weeks ago, and the baby, after having spent some time on his/her own has left as well. I can't help missing them when I look up and see that giant empty nest. Our neighbor's friend has published a book on the migration of the Osprey, and according to him, our family of birds will return in the spring. All three Ospreys have left the nest.
