UNCW Baseball: When you’re hot, you’re hot

On behalf of the Grove Project allow me to officially jump on the UNCW baseball bandwagon. For those not keeping up with this, the team has won 21 consecutive games, boasts a 22-4 record, and is ranked in the Top 20 for the first time in school history.

This is heady stuff for a program that is accustomed to success but has yet to challenge the elite teams in the country (UNC, Texas, Wichita State, etc.) The Seahawks are 12-1 at home and undefeated in Colonial Athletic Association games.

UNCW is on the road and next plays at home against Campbell on Wednesday, April 9, at 7pm.
