Inside910.com

We were contacted by a website the other day with what looks like a good idea:

Inside910.com is a search engine that registers only local websites and services, and then makes them available google style in a simple search bar.

They’ve found and registered Grove Project and I’ve verified that it crawls the content here.
Good stuff!

Looks pretty useless to me. I searched a couple of fairly unique terms from posts on here and got nothing from here at all - almost every hit I got for anything was to a commercial site, not any news or blogs, etc. The same terms on Google, however, both the web and blogs sections, brought me right here. So as much as I like supporting local and little, I have to stick with big and good on this one!

You know, I was just going to mention that here, Susan, and you beat me to it:

The idea seemed like a good one — I read some of the stuff at InsidrMedia.com, or whatever the parent site’s URL is. But yesterday I also tried to actually use it, and the results seemed like nothing but spam-y business links.
