I forgot about Creative Wilmington! That’s a problem here — in fact the very problem Creative Wilmington has set out to redress: So many little, good things, all spread out, and not enough big, centralizing things. Like arts groups. CW seems to be thriving as an arts organization for the area, which something I’ve heard transplants say they though there would be more of here (Cause of all the galleries and easy talk about culture?). I think I met the creator of creativewilmington as I was lunching at Roudbabush with a friend and the owners of Art Fuel. Seemed like a nice guy. Ran that photography workshop Tabula Rasa on 17th, now gone, still runs the non-profit Tabula Rasa to which Creative Wilmington proceeds go.
