I've decided to shut down the Grove Project's "concentration of local citizen journalists". The site was hacked pretty bad—I think during an update to the site's publishing software. But I was thinking of shutting it down anyway. Sort of a 2012, clean-start thing.

I really appreciate everyone's interest in and involvement with the site. The readership, attention, and good local writing that the site attracted certainly exceeded my expectations—and led on to a lot of other projects besides.

And maybe we'll take up some of those or other projects here in the future.
